This laptop has an accelerometer that when triggered protects the hard drive. While still not a recommended thing to do with your laptop, no laptops were harmed in the making of this video.
you could damage a hard drive just from the shockwave of hitting the water, so I wouldn’t recommend throwing the case from very high.
