Where can I get a laptop case for custom building a laptop?
I know desktop cases are easy to find but what I’m looking for is a laptop case. I want a computer that is portable and doesn’t get in the way like a desktop. I have limited room in my room and there isn’t any to set up a desk, haha.

I have worked on many different types of laptops and they are all designed to fit together only one way. To try building one from scratch would be a huge, if not impossible challenge.
You’re better off searching for some of the small footprint computers out today, that take up 1/3 of the space a desktop takes.
Do a google search using terms like “barebone laptop” or “whitebook laptop”. Here is one site that sales barebone cases:

Almost all the cases are made by the same three companies . It may be a challenge to find a case that does not cost you as much as an inexpensive completed unit that you could always upgrade. I have been looking for myself because I thought i could save money. works well building desktop, but a little toughter for laptop.
